Flawsome lessons from Emily in Paris! Season 3

So, Emily in Paris is back with its third season on Netflix and we can’t keep calm. This is the best time to watch the much in mush show, which taps the life nuances of a marketing executive from Chicago, Emily Cooper played by the very versatile Lily Collins. Emily, in last two seasons, has ‘flawsomly’ made Paris her home, or she is still dabbling whether she will continue to do so. You just ‘Have’ to watch the show, honestly, there are just so many lessons a new age woman may want to learn from Emily, in Paris. By Nitika Bajpayee Jha

1 Fashion Checklist: While in Paris, do as Parisians do. That means dress up gorgeously like the French girl in a fashionably chic way, most of the time. Our eyes ogle out widely at those scintillating neons, psychedelics, houndstooths, florals, flowing, lacy and way too sexy iridescent sheen dresses Emily is flaunting, and her shoes and jackets are just to die for. A celebration of colour and style!

2. Bestie’s best: Come, what, may, your bestie is above everyone. Yes, that totally means men keep coming and going and sex partners do change in this fast-moving world, but your bestie is here to stay. Do you have a bankable bestie? Question yourself and find one if you still don’t have one, coz life is refreshing when someone’s got your back and you get to clink the glasses together, laugh and move ahead with elan!

3. Love is…: You can fall in love and still stay out of it in a messy way. If you are in love with someone who is already in a steady relationship (and sleeping with someone else) well, you can still continue to love him/her unremittingly. Hard to believe? You ought to see way Gabriel and Emily share glances and restrain themselves, and ‘that’ still makes you believe in ‘Love at first sight’, and ‘Love stays forever’.

4. Bitch boss, nah!: Emily saunters her way in to the hearts of her bosses, who cant see eye to eye with each other. And, she is able to melt both of them with her charm. All you need is a good intention, so yeah, do it the ‘right’ way and bosses may not be so awful.

5. Friendly colleagues: You have to be extremely lucky to have colleagues like Luc and Julien, by far the best. The duo, with Emily, forge a bankable relationship, even if that means to conspire against the boss or pitching in for campaigns, together. Good colleagues are god sent, believe it at your own risk.
